So I have had the Hydra 26HD for 7 months on my LPS/Softie tank. I am new to this and have lost some corals, most likely my fault as I am learning every day. What I have left: some look good, some ok, but nothing amazing outside of a cool mushroom and GSP which are flourishing, which anyone can grow. But something that seems to keep popping up on this forum is that people are switching from LED back to T5 or MH. I have been advised by a couple people who have a lot of experience that T5 is the way to go, so the question is: should I keep sticking with my LED and slowly tweak my settings, as a lot of people get great results with them, or at some point should I switch to T5? That way I can cross off lighting as a potential limiting factor. The form factor and control of LED can't be beat, especially since I have an open top cube.
