LED's on a 6 foot tank?

Hi, I'm seriously considering going LED on my tank. As it sits right now, I have 4 400W 20K EVC bulbs in Luminarc reflectors over a standard 180. I love the color and the growth. I have a mixed reef, and it's probably 40% sps. I'm happy with how it's working for me. But, I don't love the power bill, I'd like to feel more environmentally responsible, and it's about time to buy bulbs again anyway ($$$$$).

I'm looking for examples of similar sized tanks, which are running LED's. I'd really love to see some tanks before and after a few months shots...

Also, LTA's and carpets kept under LED's for 6 months or greater consistently.

Lastly, what LED solution did you choose, and why?

Thank you so much for the input!

Here is my 210g that has been set up for a while, but began adding coral a few months ago. It is using LED's at 30". LPS in the bottom half are growing and SPS at the top of the rockwrok are starting to encrust with a PAR reading of about 250.

These pics are taken at 'high light', that is, a heavy focus of whites versus blue to simulate 'high noon' if you will. The tank is bluer in earlier and later parts of the day.

PM me if you would like more extensive details. HTH

Wow Makenna! This is exactly the type of information I was looking for :) You have a great mix of corals, how long have you had them in there? Also, I know it says to pm for more details, but is it a diy fixture, or is a prebuilt?

I have a 6 footer running the 72" solaris system (discontinued). I have never had major issues with keeping sps other than my phosphates being out of check. All I have right now of the tank is an FTS because I rescaped yesterday.

I also have them on a 72" tank. I have a build thread if you search on my name. I have had great success with them. I wouldn't consider any other lighting.
