I am on the same boat.. I've been in contact with Alex from LEDZeal and he mentioned that there's an iOS app in development and should be ready in a few months..
With that said I think I'll be buying the wifi model and wait for the app to be done soon (hopefully)
I asked about the new iOS app and was told it was very bugged by a friend who went that route...as I haven't seen it directly I can only assume its in development or beta atm....
I have to make my choice within the next 48 hours or so...times a tickin!
Good buy edward - what spectrum did you go with (standard or a custom set-up). I upgraded, but I did have to convince Kevin that I knew what I was doing and it involved wiring.
The smart controller is good, it's just the app is better if you want to "see" the program schedule and regularly change programs. You certainly don't *need* the app, if you are not intending to change modes all the time.
I've got mine pretty well set in DIY mode...get sunrise,daytime and then sunset...looks good for now but I do plan to tweak it....I did go standard spectrum for now...its for a fish only tank so should do fine)
Sorry for the late reply, havent been on the forum for a while, the greens and reds will really help with the colours of the fish so no need to worry about the blues unless you're keeping sps TBH, even then I think it's probably personal choice.
