lemalea coral ???

I had this start growing in my fuge almost 1 year ago. Now it is about 3 1/2 in. tall. It is currently in a fuge with NO florescent 10 watt light. I have tried to move to the show tank but it wilts badly and seems to look bad.

Can anyone tell me if this is a lemalea coral or what? and what is the proper care?

I believe they meant Lemnalia. I have no experience with the coral myself, but everything I've read says they're pretty standard branching coral fare. Props by dropping off mini colonies.

David, definitely, we need an azooxanthellae corals forum :D

I agree with David, IÃ"šÃ‚´ve also participate in that post, and these guys could be interested on your succes with this coral.

Talonn, yes, I also think itÃ"šÃ‚´s a Lemnalia:

Some species could be partially photosynthetic, yours seems to be azooxanthellae, thatÃ"šÃ‚´s why it seems to be better in your fuge, with lot of live plancton, than in the main tank, with more light, but less food.

Take care it, itÃ"šÃ‚´s georgeus.

Good luck,

Dani

I'll try posting in that forum and see what they have to say...

There is no forum, unless your talking about the forum that thread is in. It would be better if you posted in the thread I linked. That's probably what you meant just making sure, but of coarse you can post it any where you like. :)
