does anyone have a lemonpeel angel? i was looking into getting one but wanted to learn more about their behavior and if they're really that bad for corals and clams

I have one - he's a cheery, inquisitive little soul and gets on well with most of his tankmates - he's good buddies with my Yellow Tang. My Flame Angel gives him a bit of grief from time to time, but it's a 200 gall so they don't bump into eachother too much.

Afraid I have no corals so can't comment from firsthand experience on this aspect, but I belive the LP has one of the worst reputations for coral-nipping amongst the dwarf angels...

Mine left my corals alone. It was a pig though and got very dominant any time I came close to the tank since it thought it was feeding time. My flame was a bigger pain when it came to eating corals, my Lemonpeel was a true angel in leaving them alone.

Mine for the most part has been fine, (had it for about 1.5 years now)
It hasn't really picked at my SPS too much, but I do only notice PE at night. The growth and color of them are still great. He (she) has recently started picking at my Haddoni. So when I move (next week or two) he will be moved to my other tank.

I have had my Lemonpeel for about a year and a half. It is a bit aggressive, and very territotial. I have seen it nip on my Millepora, but it has not been distructive to the point were he is going to get thown into a QT. As far as special care, I give it none, I just feed the tank sparingly, top off the water and enjoy watching it. The colors on it are fantastic, of all the yellow fish it is by far my favorite.
