Lesson learned

The babies are 26 days now, just got a big scare. I just did a water check, and started to siphon the bottom when I got a semi emergency call. I was gone about an hour and came back to find gasping / panting listless babies! Could not figure it out, quick check on salinity showed it was a little high and I started to drip water but I knew a slow drip would not work so I just poured RO?DI into the tank, I figured I was losing them anyway so...

I then noticed I had left the air stones off, talk about frantic I was blowing air in with a long hose while trying to move air from other places into the tank. 30 minutes later they started to come around, only 2 weak ones dead (needed to be culled anyway). Time will tell on the rest, fingers crossed.

Like I said 'lesson learned".

Absolutely not! My profession only pays for my passion. (and if I knew how to add a smile I would have it here.)

Same here. Almost 2hrs, no further loses, plenty of air, extra large dose of bbs.
