That first one was picked up fast from Cherry Corals. IT was PRICY!

Yeah I unfortunatley dropped a king's ransom on that scoly, but I think it was worth it. The Valentine's Day Massacre Scoly you picked up on Ebay was a steal considering what I paid!

I went and took some pics since it was requested on another thread.

Please excuse the horrible pictures. But the color representation from reef empire was spot on.

first 2 pics are with all my lights on. The 3rd is just actinics out of the water.

Unfortunately I cant get all the colors (Pink, Powder Blue, Black, White, Yellow, Orange) represented in these pics. The other colors that are more on the edges are yellow, orange and you can't really see the white streak.

That is an amazing Scoly, I'm extremely jealous!!! I've bought a couple of Scolys through Reef Empire and they are awesome to work with and there items come as advertised if not better. If for any reason you ever want to sell that bad boy, just say the word!

thanks nUgZ, yeh was gutted about the red/ blue one :sad2: thanks for your comments on the replacement as i was torn between another red/blue but the more i look at the green / blue replacement the more i like it :rollface:

It is a Cynarina Lacrynalis (Button Coral).

Yeah Scolys and cynarinas are VERY similar.

Just took a new photo of it before the lights went off, this thing is totally NEON orange with the moon lights on! I wish I could get the camera to see it like my eyes do with the moon light. Maybe one day I will try a tripod and a longer shutter time to see if I can dial it in.

I think this one might have a neon pink mouth. Have only see it just barely like in the photo...waiting to see it "smile" and open up to feed.

Oh it also fades from the orange into a orange/red to a redish/pinkish/orange at the bottom of the edges. Kind of a cool color morph as it tucks under the coral.
