Recovering Detritophobe
I would like to do some comparing of coloration/pattern on angels which matured in captivity vs those in the wild. Angels undergoing major changes are welcome (Pomacanthus), as well as those undergoing more minor changes (such as regals).

I no longer have the fish -- grew too big for my tank, but....

Blue face angel,

A bit beat up by the lemonpeel in the back ground --- which was sold shortly after this picture

Todd, very nice looking BF. I never thought a lemonpeel would be that aggressive and if mine was like that it would get the boot as well.

I used to have that LemonPeel with my Flame angel, but they got along great. He just really hated the Blue Face, the lemonpeel was put in the sump within hours of me having the Blue Face.

Here is a bad shot showing a lot of damage,

Magnificent fish Todd! One question, do you ever clean your tank?

I clean each of my 3 tanks each week -- 5 gallon water change.

Man, this could be a thread worth following! I cannot wait to see some more! How about some P. imperator growth pics?!

Only one participant?

Todd, that blueface turned out gorgeous. I started this thread because I am interested in haveing a few angels and would like the experience of getting them small and growing them out, but I dont want them to look ..."funky" when theyre adults. Yours transitioned perfectly!
