Hi what kind of acro is that on the lower hand side, is that a stylophora? and what color....it has a weird growth pattern that I've ever seen. nice tank btw.

i just notice that you have a big urchin...I used to have them but the thorns got so long that it knock corals on it's way so finally I got rid of it. Now I use a tuxedo urchin...and works better, because it doesn't really grow.

nice tank. How long has it been running? How long did it take to get that growth?

Thanks - been set up for 2 yrs. I've had the large monti cap you see on the bottom right side for around 8 months. The large blue acropora milliepora you see on the top left is one of my first pieces I got about a year and a half ago. Everything else is about in between that time.

Growth is pretty good especially since I only run my halides 5 hours per day.

Thanks. If you mean the lower RH side, thats a montipora capricornis - Color is orangish red/brown. Yes, it is a wierd growth pattern. Kinda just explodes open instead of the typical horizonal plate layers we're use to seeing.

The botton left corner is a stand of montipora digitata. I have 3 stands of digitata. Seems to grow prolifically - even along the back of the overflows. I use to carefully pick up all the pieces that would break off and glue them back onto the rock work. Anymore I just let them grow were the fall.

I thought this thread was dead, Guess I was wrong. I logged on today and Wow there are some serious tanks here. I am hesitant to post my pics here with all this growth
