Let's see some tortuosa pics!

I love bengals
There are so many beautiful tortuosas out there I would love to see everyone's favorite. I am sure there is a tort thread like this but let's start a new one and try to get as many variants as we can posted.
Here is an article on a beautiful one that I hope makes it in my aquarium some day! Man that's beautiful... I can't link to this site so you have to search for this..

Acropora tortuosa in Kwajalein has a unique blue tip color

This is my favorite that I have. I believe it's a tort and it's similar to the mother of pearl, Bennett's tort and miyagi tort. I got it as a wild green frag so it has no lineage. I have traded and sold a lot of frags and it looks different in every tank, especially under different lighting. I call it my bad azz acro so I can keep track of it easier, I have had it for about 5 years now. Under certain lighting it gets pinkish orange in its branches and almost always has a neon green base that looks almost translucent when healthy and grown out.

Older pic growing under 400w 10k xms, t5 actintic, and Cree royal blues.

Recent shot under t5s and reefbrite.

Best pic I can find right now. Right after a waterchange and I also had just fragged it. This picture was taken shortly after I cleared out the 210 of all the corals I had grown out a few times so it was pretty bare. Shortly after that I had to break it down.

Bennett blue tort in front of the shot.

Finland, which tort is that pic of? That's a nice colony!

Orion, the Cali tort pic looks like a tenuis. Nice either way.
What kind of lights as over the oregon?

Anyone find the article on the white and purple tip tort???

I got Raadion G3 pro over my corals. The Cali Tort is really high under the Radion. The Oregon Tort is in my frag tank under 6 inches of water and the Radion is 6 inches above the water level.

It's a cali torte.

Patterson, mine looked just like that but was all green when I got it. I thought it was a frogskin acro at first. It was one branch that looked like a stag the size of a pinky.

I am sure more of you have some awesome pics.

I think thats an austera, although a few austeras are often called torts. And its a beautiful coral, great color! I had one but my multicolor angel took to eating the slime coat off the acro and killed it slowy. I keep seeing them maricultured and want another one...

Reeflover, turn your Mp40 off, turn your return off, stand over your tank with your camera, focus... And take a freaking top down shot!!! Thoes are beautiful colonies.
