Rick,you did great with the 55. I hate how narrow they are. I'll be upgrading this year to a 90 or 120. What did you use for water movement? I have Tunze, but it burns my cap.

My 55g specs were as follows.

Tank
Standard AGA 55g with 3 coats blue painted on back

Sump setup
18g sump, Rio HP20 return through a SQWD and dual returns inside tank,custom sealife skimmer 150g rated, 10# Live rock, no light.

Current
Blueline wavemaker with 3-MJ 1200's and 1-Seio 820
Main return was around 700gph..........probably 1500-2000gph randomly running through it at any giving time

Lights
2-IceCap 175w with AB 10K bulbs
1-IceCap 430 with 2-110w Actincs
PFO Reflector

Extras
Bionic 1 & 2 everday...20mls
5g H20 change per week
10g per week top-off, fresh RO/DI

I want it simple yet effective.
im hoping to keep the 120 the same.

That pic was taken in 11-04, at 2.4yrs running. The tank was taken down about 4wks ago.

what kind of sump are you guys fitting under your 55g? all I can fit is a 10g tank. I would love to upgrade to something bigger.
