I'm currently running Tek T-5 4-24w and a sump with a refugium. I had the JBJ Viper 70w hqi but the output was poor and quality was crap. These little T-5's are bright! I don't have any fish in the tank right now but will soon add maybe a goby or blenny and a percula clown.
Here's the sump setup with a Euro-reef CS80 skimmer.
My 30g hex was about 3.5 years old. The only thing in the pic that was less than a year old in the tank was the purple gorgonian. The RBTA recently emerged from hiding, and was looking pale. Otherwise all were happy and healthy. I lost the tank while in Europe recently

Here is my 30 cube. False wall built in the back to house heaters, cheato, LR, refugium. Dual Hydor wavemakers on return. Running 250W double ended halide pendant w/ 14K bulb. Will be switching to a 20K next week. Skimmerless.

Obviously I am a big fan of Montipora
SPS dominated. Currently getting rid of some softies that have decided to declare war on my caps and hydnophora. The great thing about this cube is you can view 3 sides. I made sure none of the LR touches the sides so I can clean the glass (very difficult to aquascape without touching the sides). Only some easily moved corals touch the glass now. Some rocks that are currently stored in the middle opening will be moved so there is a nice opening.
Not as clean as I would like right now, but once some leathers are gone it will look much better. Will try to get some better photos also in the next couple of weeks, once my softies are sold. My camera is terrible.
