Just got this last week. It's about 1.5-2 inches.

Since I'm new to clams, is this a Maxima?

Pretty sure that's a Tridacna crocea (electric blue).

That thing is in desperate need of an upgrade. That clam can get catasthrophically huge if you'd let it. Definitely take out anything that bothers that clam. I'm not sure you know this but your clam there is the main focus of your tank. I would make that clam my first priority. It's not common to come across clams that big so take care of it. IMO

prugs, that thing looks deformed..... although it is a very sweet clam
