Lets see your ORA clams

I've been talking to Barry about that and he has been doing quite a bit of lab studies on his water and has just gotten done completely redoing all his tanks to ensure he is protazoan free.

I've been talking to Barry about that and he has been doing quite a bit of lab studies on his water and has just gotten done completely redoing all his tanks to ensure he is protazoan free.

Our main tanks never had the parasite but our quarantine tanks did but we have sterilized them all and no signs of parasite in the water. :)

We have pretty much narrowed it down to the source and it is one of the main collection station but they have been notified and they said the problem has been resolved.

The lab has identified the problem and we have treated with medication that appears to be working.

Like us, everyone should quarantine all livestock before placing in the display tank, just good husbandry. Not just clams but fish, inverts, corals and all. ;)

ORA stands for "Oceans, Reefs and Aquariums"

Thanks Barry. Been keeping a close eye on em.

haggisman, they are all about 2 inches. The one in the middle pic (blue w/ green edge) is about 3 inches. The first two pics were the same pic, but had to trim them down to fit in the gallery.

Here is mine that I got a few months back. I cutlure my own phyto and have seen amazing growth. It has opened up considerably since these pictures...
