Nanoreefwanabe:
'Tis Cespitularia, my friend, or "true" blue xenia. I looked for this coral for 3 years before I found a reputable person to get a frag from. They are very poor shippers, and I almost lost the whole frag before a tiny bud took hold and started to grow out. This picture was taken with the tank lights out and the flash on for the camera. The iridescent "glitter" you see are calcareous sclerites in the coral that reflect/refract the light. Definitely the most beautiful coral (rarely) available in the trade, IMHO.

Here are mine with and without flash. The Fiji Leather is just finishing a shed so it isn't looking so hot. Can anyone id the Xenia relative? I was given it as a gift.

My new 11 year old 125 gal. turn key reef

I'm bringing this beauty home this weekend! I fell in love with the softies and the huge mature fish. The tank has been up and running for 11 years with these fish. Here are some pics of what it looks like. Get a load of all of the purple Yumas! Rocks literally covered with polyps 8 in. in Diamater.:eek1:
