Let's talk about fish feeding

I started salt water with seahorses. Was seahorse obsessed. With seahorses they need to be fed twice a day, three times a day is better. So not having experience with any other fish, I have been feeding my reef three times a day for the last year.

I spoke with my LFS owner, who is one of the good LFS people believe it or not, and he only feeds his reef twice a week. AND WE KEEP THE SAME FISH!

I'm just curious as to how often you all feed, and what?

My feeding schedule is such.

I thaw two cubes of mysis, a cube of blood worms, a cube of brine, and a cube of Emerald Entree in a 8 oz cup. I also add some artic pods and some phyto feast. I let it all thaw and then feed a bit every few hours. Not as complicated as it sounds, I toss some in when I get up to get another beer. Easy.

I keep a pair of baby clowns, a pink spotted watchman, a potter's leapord wrasse, and a bi color blenny as well as several LPS and soft corals.

So I guess I am over feeding tremedously. The tank is 65g, has 20 actual gallons of refugium. So far no algae problems. My levels are pretty perfect to.

What do you feed? Should I cut back?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. I have followed and participated in that thread.

Just wondering what everyone else feeds.

I'm up to 5 cubes a day, for five fish. Thought I might be pushing it. :D The refugium supplies a good number of pods too.
