Lexington KY Reef Shops?

Looks like I"m going to be making some frequent trips to Lexington in the coming weeks/months and just wondering if there are any reef shops worth checking out that way?

Nothing really special as far as I know. You might want to check the Kentucky Reef Society forum.
It's always surprised me Lex didn't have at at least one really cool store though.

When you pass the Grayson exit you're only a mile, maybe two, away from Reef & Reptiles though. They evidently are rebuilding the salt side and didn't have much last month but the owners are really nice folks...so far I've only talked to Jarrod on the phone but I met him at Bert's years ago and his wife is a real sweetheart.

For a town of that size not to have a reef shop is a business opportunity in the waiting for someone.

There use to be a place called "Just Fish" in Lexington that was nice. There are a few nice places. Best thing to do is look in yellow pages when you get there.

I lived in lex for many years after moving away From Ashland and there was never a decent store that I could find, nothing that really blew me away anyways... Now living in Ft Lauderdale for the last 8 years, that is a different story

Nothing really good in Lexington, Ky. You can check the www.kyreefsociety.com for a list of Kentucky pet shops. Louisville and Cincy have some of the best

That's really a shame. What is the population of Lexington and the surrounding areas?
