LF Anyone with 6-8" plastic tube?

Planning to make my own "ultimate" skimmer.

Looking for 6-8" diameter by 20+ inch length plastic tube. Clear or opaque ok.

Planning to mount pump under chamber in recirc with bubble plate etc...

Tap Plastics is $72 for 6" diameter acrylic per foot... So no thank you!

Actually thy's cast acrylic. Their 1/8" 6" diameter extruded? is cheaper.

But really prefer 8" diameter.

Or maybe I'll just make a square chamber.

This isn't exactly what you are asking for but you are more than welcome to it is you want. The 6" diameter tube is 9" tall and the box on the bottom is 10"x8"x7". This was the skimmer that came with my tank when I bought it but I didn't know enough about skimming to mess with it.
