LF Aquarium Stand Door...

My husband and I built a custom aquarium stand for our 125-gallon tank. Here it is before we added all the stuff:

So here's the problem, the stupid thing still doesn't have a door on it (!). I am going to try to leave the two ends open and put shelves in there, but the sump/cord/uv light area needs a dor bad.

I am looking for a door. Any kind of junk door, from a dresser, or a cabinet, or an old rotted stand. I'd be happy to refinish it.

The opening that we are looking to fit the door in is 23" wide and 22" tall, so anything smaller then that would be beautiful. You all seem to be full of random stuff, so I thought I'd start here :)

You can pick up some cabinet doors at Lowes or Home Depot. Or put a curtain around it. Ive seen some folks do that. Can I give you a little advice? Those bio balls you have will turn into a nitrate factory. Its alright if its a fish only tank but not cool for a reef. You may wanna get them out. Just my 0.2 cents.

I appreciate the bioball controversy, but I didn't know there was one until I was 6-months into the tank. My husband is the one who has had tanks before (I'm a huge newb) and he's pretty strong on his opinion about it so far (I've talked to a few people and tried to talk him out of it). He doesn't want to use carbon. I'm just going to have to keep an eye on things, and keep doing research to try to convince him otherwise.

And thanks for the pics Murfman. I know I can make doors like that, but I don't like how they look as much as real cabinet doors. I tried to order some from Lowe's and they want as much for one door as it cost me to make the whole stand. There's gotta be some old piece of junk I can get a door offa somewhere! :)

Liriel, I've got a few chunks of mohogany verneer here in the garage that I could probably slap a 1x2 frame on, flop a continuous hinge on it and you'd be good to go...

now if I can just find the mohogany in this pile of $&^%
