Seriously considering switching to t5s but only want a quality fixture. Preferably ATI Sun Power dimmable or maybe not dimmable for the right price. Needs to fit in a 48" space and the fixture cannot be bigger than 48" end to end. For example, I think the 48" at sun power is 47" so that will work. PM me with what you got. thanks!

Just keep in mind that the exhaust heat comes out one end of the fixture can't be blocked. So if its a tight fit, it may not work.
If your tank is 40" by 24", I would recommend a 6 or 8 bulb 36" fixture. No need to go any longer.

It confused the heck out of me at first too.
The fans blow air into the fixture, down along the bulbs, and out through the end that has the opening to remove the clear bulb cover. The air it blows is pretty warm and should be unrestricted to work properly.
