LF: Berghia Nudibranch

Any stores in the Bay Area sell the Berghia Nudibranch? I spotted a few aiptasia growing in my rocks.

I can't purchase any peppermint shrimps in fear that they will eat up my euphyllia.

Give them a call before heading over there just to confirm, but i thought i saw a couple in the small fish section.

I see there are a few online vendors, but does anyone have a personal recommendation?

SaltyUnderground, a good place to buy. I used to buy from them when I farmed Berghia's. The berghia's I always got from them were good and healthy. I usually get a good mix of babies, sub-adults, and adults. A lot of times as I get them in there are already egg masses on the bags.

Need to wait until they have the 50 pack of the 1/4 on sale again. 1/2 one is too much unless we can get more into this buy.

I was interested because I found and removed a couple (literally 2) tiny aiptasia in my new RSR750 tank that I thought was aiptasia free (grumble). I am well aware that there certainly are some I'm not seeing, but should be very few.

But in reading more about Berghia, they aren't recommended unless there is at least a medium severity outbreak or else they can starve before they find any aiptasia to eat.

I did add a few peppermint shrimp a few weeks ago when we had that group order, but never saw them again after day 0, so they are presumed dead.

So I guess I'm back to just manual removal when I see them like I've always done...
