Personally I use a simple Aqua Lifter.

My setup is basically an aqua lifter turned on and off by a Reefkeeper. On for 3.5 seconds every few minutes or so. The Aqua Lifter In connects to a Kalk Reactor which pulls water from a bucket which is filled with purified water (with a float valve so I never have to refill it). I have an alarm telling me when the pH goes below 8.25 at night. When that alarm goes off I refill the Kalk Reactor. I have to do this once every 2-3 weeks. Takes at most 5 minutes. Altogether this setup cost me 230 or so. Just as it sounds, ridiculously easy to keep my levels. I got the Kalk Reactor used.

Can you use an aqua lifter without a kalk reactor? I mix my kalk and drip dose now, but that has proven u reliable without constant monitoring.

How do you setup the aqualifter to work like that? I also have a RKL system, do you use the timer feature to control the aqualifter? How much do you run your aqualifter each day?
