LF External fuge light.

So for maybe the 4th time, my little "submersible" halogen light for my chaeto has become waterlogged and burnt out. The company has been very helpful with this and has sent me a whole new light every time it's happened, but I'm kind of tired of it.

Does anyone have a light that can be fixed to the back of a Biocube to light up some chaeto in the back chamber? I just need something cheap and effective, not those 100 dollar refugium pendant things.

Does your BioCube have the glass panel so you can mount the light on the outside? Early models I understand did not have this feature.

All I did on the biocube I had before was went down to Home Depot and bought some thin wood and made a small box then put in a bulb socket and a bulb and sticked it to the back of the tank with some Velcro strips. Worked very good for my ats.

I have a 9 w CF unit you can have for free, but I am located in Marin. It came stock on a JBJ 3.5G Pico. The clamp broke off so I replaced it was a $30 27W Green Element LED which made an annoying high pitch noise (you get what you pay for). LMK
