LF: Icefire Echinata

Let me know if you find a source! Paid $100 for a tiny frag of a Tyree and lost it in my crash. One of 2 corals I have not been able to replace. Good luck, a legit one is a rare bird!

Here's a pic of the frag I lost. Was a Tyree with papers, lol. Whitish body, blue tips, orangy-golden inner ring where the polyps were.....

Rovster the one you posted looks great and more along the lines of what I was looking for I think. Hard for me to tell by just a frag. The one that ryanaquarium posted looks nice too with the red in it. If I like the picture he sends me later I may get a frag from him.

Chris the one I posted was legit. IMHO there is a difference. Lots of wild Aussies come in and they are beautiful and rare themselves, but nothing like that original strain in terms of color and hardiness. This is one of those cases that I would pay more for the name, haha!

I agree with you that there is a difference between the two and don't doubt that yours is legit. I guess the one I was looking for is not legit then, the one I like has a good amount of white in the base of it. Kind of something like this...
