LF Mantis Shrimp...

My student who got a 29g BC for Christmas has fallen in love with my mantis in my 8g BC in the classroom. He is looking for a smaller one that may have come in as a hitchiker that no one wants. Willing to pay up to $10 for one. Let me know... Thanks...

I actually have a mantis that I was going to post for sale. It's a 5" female peacock and was looking for $30 though. LMK, if he is interested. The peacock is in a 29g as well.

Ahh man... that would be a sweet looking mantis but I don't think he is wanting to put it in his 29g with his corals and CUC. I was thinking of one of the smaller species that stay small and don't mess with a CUC as much. Although I wouldn't mind a peacock mantis... let me think about it...

What's a CUC? I don't think she will mess with the corals if she has a borrow.

CUC = Clean Up Crew IE Snails, hermits etc...

Plus my student wants to get a Yasha Hashia and Candy Cane Pistol which wouldn't do so well with the mantis.

I will see what I can do though because mantis are awesome!!!

yeah, the clean up crew would be gone. I once placed 30 micro crabs in there and they were gone in a few days. The goby/shrimp wouldn't last either.

I do have a damsel in the tank with the mantis. He sometimes shares the same borrow with it. The mantis doesn't seem to mind.

Haha, I actually like damsels. I've always wanted a tank with dominos (D. trimac's) with an anemone. I have no idea why, but I think its neat.
