Thats not that small as I think you can fit a lot of good skimmers in that footprint, but if you want really small (i.e. - what I have in my IM 38), check out this guy. I am super, super happy with it.

Those both look like hang on/ in tank skimmers. I'm looking for a skimmer to fit in my sump and will sit in 7" of water
