I am going to ABQ tomorrow and Sunday and I want to know what are some pretty decent fish stores around the area.
My hotel is going to be right off Louisiana across from Coronado Mall.

If you guys can name off where they are located and maybe a telephone number that will be awesome!

Thanks alot!

Cool guys I checked it out. It was ok.
I ended up not buying any livestock. IMO I think the prices were a little high.
I could go to Lubbock or Amarillo TX to one of the few in those areas and get most of the corals way cheaper then they are selling them for.
I will have to say it was a nice looking shop though. Sad that SWR is the only Fishstore in ABQ.
Thanks for letting me know though!

It's not the only, but it's the best by a pretty hefty margin.

Their coral prices are kind of all over the place. I've picked up a few really great frags from his $20 frag tank, and there are certainly some expensive corals that he's actually got a good price on, they're just out of my price range. Other times I almost wonder if things are just marked wrong or something.

As for selection the only other half-way decent shop in town is Clarks on Lomas. No one there has a clue about saltwater tho, so you have to know what you're doing and not need to ask questions. Also, it's not uncommon at Clarks to find things horribly mislabeled, e.g. they had a Duncan listed as something else, like a trumpet or torch coral, with like 9 large heads on it for $20.

The only other shop I know that stocks any marine fish is Fins'n'critters up on Eubank and lomas. Last time I was there they had a few clowns and yellow tangs, and that was about it.

Last time I was at Fin's'critters it had a weird vibe & smell lol I won't be heading back.

For me, Clarks has better prices and wider selection on equipment, but livestock is iffy.
