LFS recommendations

I will be visiting the bay area next month and want to feed my addiction while there. I will be visting the monterey bay aquarium and atlantis aquarium. What other stores should I visit? I am mainly into SPS and am planning on doing a LFS day and shipping pieces back to Chicago if they are especially nice. I will be staying in Watsonville but driving to good locations will not be a problem.

You might want to check out tropical paradise in San Leandro.. I can';t remember the address but if you google it it should come up.. I think he is only open o nthe weekends though...

dolphin pet village will be the closest good one. they are moving soon but have good stuff.

Some of the best stuff comes out of your area, do any of you local guys have any good frags? I will pay market price for some LE pieces if they are around. Pickup not a big deal.

I second Aquatic Gallery...my definite favorite of the area, but it is pricey.

I stopped by Dolphin Pet Village today and wasn't impressed with their current selection. But as Lordhelmet said, they are moving soon. I don't think they're going to be getting anything new in for awhile, and many of their saltwater tanks were being shut down in preparation of the move...They're moving to a place not too far away, its still on Campbell Ave

from a email i got from them: 1770 W Campbell Avenue, Campbell in Kirkwood Plaza by February 14th. Our new location is between The Right Stuff and Starbuck's.

i know they'll be closed from the 9th to the 14th

Another decent store to check out is King Aquarium on Story Road right near 101 in San Jose. it's hit or miss, but i stop by there every once in a while to see what they have.

Eddie will be closing soon. My buddy just bought up a few of his remaining flowerhorns for real cheap.
