LFS suggestion

Hey...I read that other post that was closed...and had a suggestion... just my thoughts anyway...

A lot of times when I got to the LFS ... I have a spending limit that has been imposed by my sig. other...which I go along with...to keep the peace :). Since most of the LFS don't have pricing on each coral posted...I usually have to sit there and ask..how much is this one, how much is that one, etc.... and have to wait for them to get done helping a customer sometimes to ask...which can end up being a lengthy process.

Since most LFS have several coral tanks..how about say in Tank #1 .. put a sign all corals in this tank range from up to $40, then Tank #2 say these corals range from $40-$70, and so on.

This way... say a person knows they don't want to spend more than say $75 dollars that day...they just don't look in the tanks that say $100 and up..etc.

Anyways...just a suggestion :) use it .. don't use it... I'm just saying...it sounded good to me..if you don't want to have to bother with putting prices for each and every coral on the glass that this would give consumers an idea of the price..w/out having to ask for each coral.

danco, If I was a wee bit closer, I would love to check it out. I may try that this weekened. I am going to refrain from listing LFS that do and dont:) Everyone on here already knows anyways.

The only catch there is that I would much prefer to see the coral seperated by type. Also this helps with coral to coral aggression. You don't want a big leather shedding on your prized acro just because they are priced the same. I think in some circumstances your suggestion will work but not all.

Yeah I try to keep them separated, and priced per coral....of course right now they are not, but they are easy for me to re-do, just been cleaning everything and wiped the prices off....
