I am not trying to encourage bashing of lfs, i was wondering what you all thought the best stores are in the area. I have been to exotic aquatics, petmart, creative oceans. The best one i have been to in the area was Marine Warehouse i think. It is blue on the outside with porthole windows, was a large store with a decent amount of stock. Otherwise, i am not sure of other great stores. Any suggestions???

Can't go wrong with FAOIS. Marine Warehouse (big blue portholes, yes) is probably my (distant) 2nd favorite.

cschweitzer, how would you say that?? ich-ty-ology?? ...thanks for that info, I also didnt know that.;)

Great! thanks so much John. It's Ich-Thy-Ology. Thats pretty good, thinking about it now the name is all coming together:D

There's a fairly new place in Brandon called Aqua Star Aquarium. It's on Bloomingdale in the same strip as BigLots and the post office. Every time I've been in there the fish have looked great and the staff is really friendly. So far all I've purchased is water but I imagine I'll be getting a lot of my fish there too.

I am also fairly new to the area. I think FAOIS is by far the cleanest, has a good variety, and a fair price also.

I agree moongoddess. You get all your highs and lows and cant stop buying the stuff just like drugs. Hi im billy and im a reefaholic. lol

I was over at Rockin' Reef the other day. Most stuff I have seen there looks pretty healthy as far as fish and most of his corals. His acro's looked kind of browned out but the others looked fine.

He is still trying to dial in his sps tank. He lost a bunch when he first got it set up but is doing alot better with them now. I have seen some very nice sps there.
