hey guys I was wondering if there are any LFS around gatlinburg?

just looking to pick up a few drygoods while I am down there for the weekend.

I think I asked when I was going there once and was told there wasn't much around there. I would check with ETRC since it is around that area.

I would go on down to the Aquarium in Knox. off of paper mill rd. Its a big place and reasonable on prices but I dont know of a decent LFS in gat.

You're probably looking at an hour from Gatlinburg for the Aquarium. Maybe a little more. Depending on which way you travel there (I'm assuming via Exit 407 and 40W to Knoxville.

There's not that many LFSs. Also, if you're going there, you had just as well go to the Coral Reef, too, which is just behind it on Kingston Pike. The Aquarium is nice and big, but UNBELIEVABLY expensive (regular ocellaris clowns $40 each when I was there last summer). The Coral Reef isn't as nice or big, but has much more down to earth prices.

These have just been my experience and I've only been to each once.

There's also Fish Fair in Morristown that is a nice little store to visit, but probably not worth the extra hour of travel from Knoxville.

Just my opinion, though. :) I think there's a pet shop in Sevierville maybe somewhere... but I think I'm just thinking of a cat breeder my mom was looking into. :)

There was one around sevierville that I went in but it was a waste of time. I think it only had a little FW stuff.

I remember now... its a small shop next to an RC/"As Seen on TV" (weird combo, I know) shop (maybe why Mike had stopped as well ;) ). I've never been in that one, though.

Does that ring a bell, Mike?

Dang, Matt... I really wish you hadn't given us that URL. Now I want a Serval... BADLY! :D

BTW, how do you know they carry saltwater fish? j/k :D

I do think that this is the store I was thinking of, though, FWIW.
