Lg Frag fell in Clam

What should I try? I am more concerned about the clam.

He'll eventually let go and may even blow it out with water. You can try pulling on it gently so as to not break his shell and see if it lets go.

I probably would let the clam be. If you pull you might shred some of his mantle if its sitting between the coral and the shell.

Thanks Freed..........I tried holding the end hoping to tug when the clam extended and it clamped down hard. Its shell is slightly damaged but not bad.

Yeah, let it be and the clam will eventually blow the frag away.
I think clams might have some sort of mechanism to do so, because in nature it should happen from time to time.
