Liberache gets a new home ! ? please

I have had Liberache going on 3 months now & just bought her a new 20 long.

I was just wondering if I can use the 3 to 4 inch sand bed that is in her tank now becouse its still a young tank or will it become a toxic time bomb ?

What would be a good light for her new tank ?

I had a HOB filter but it broke so what would work for her new 20L as far as PH's or HOB filters ? What works best for them ? For now I have a power sweep in there.

I use a Millenium 2000 HOB filter, a Prizm Skimmer, and a MJ1200 powerhead along with a deep sand bed and about 35 lbs of live rock in a 26 gallon BF tank, but a canister filter would be nice and concealable...

My tank is just a 20L & it will just be sitting there in the open. No place to hide stuff. I havent had a skimmer on the tank just the HOB penguin with the charcoal filters.

So they like a good bit of current then. Right now its really slow in there. Its a sm power sweep. I will fix this when I get the new tank set up in a few days. My old HOB broke so I will upgrade it. Will the empire Filter be to much with a MJ 1200 ?

How much light can they take ? I have a light like what comes with the FW tanks. Would one of the SUN 50/50 be enough or should I have more ? I can do whatever is best for her.

I plan on adding plants to help out also.

Can I use the old 3 to 4 inch sand bed as it is only 3 months old or will it be a toxic bomb ?

the peacocks like lower light levels, so the 15 w 50/50 should be fine, they arent the most gracefull of swimmers, so way too much current may be unnecessary, but good water movement helps is a good thing. as far as the sand goes, im not sure....

For the price of sand I would say to go with new sand. I'm not sure how much junk is in your bed. Since sand is cheap I would say use new sand to be safe...

I have a HOB CPR will this work well enough for water current. It has a 600 RIO or MJ. I cant remember witch one. I totally forgot I had it until i came across a different post here in another forum.

Would two of them be to much light ?
