I think you should not encourage people to do anything that may be potential dangerous~dc

You have caused me never to want to come back and read another thread.... I knew there were crazy's out there but this one takes the cake.

I got another idea... Take a butter knife in one hand and a straight head screwdriver in the other... Stick the butter knife into one side of an outlet... How about that, nothing happens. now, stick the screwdriver in the other side. If your lucky you'll drop one of them before it really knocks you on your a s s.

thats like daring someone to grab and try to hold on to a lion fish?? its pointless i mean ive done some dumb crap in my life but putting my head in a tank just to try to touch my toung to my anemone bc it will shock me? thats redundantly retarded IMO! but if someone gets a video of them doing it i will paypal you 10 dollars

this really makes me wish i had a nem, id really like to try this, maybe il ask the guy at my lfs if i can lick one

I've never come across any liturature, documentaries, instruction from college professors etc. that would suggest a mouthful of any species of anemone could harm a human. The general nature of that statement leaves plenty of room to shoot it down but i really haven't.

Aside from looking dumb it may well be entirely harmless. Taking the nem from the water and harassing it is probably the worst consequence.

It was stinging his mouth. I have been stung by anemones before, its not fun! It is like a bee sting, and an allergic reaction! The problem with that is, we don't know how much of it we can handle, the next time could be the deadly one.

Wowzerz. Wow. Well, really, it is not dangerous. Nothing like eating zoos or touching a lion fish. I was not expecting this kind of response.I am not suggesting that you go out and try to kill yourself, or even lick an anemone if you do not want to. All this was a casual, "Hey, if you want, this is kind of cool"

Yes, really it is dangerous. ANY allergic reaction is dangerous and can be deadly.
