Well, marine Ich made its way into my hobby about 3 months ago. Fortunatley I made a smart move in setting up a quarenteen tank and placing all my new fish in there prior to my display.
Thanks RC! This is the smartest move a hobbiest can make. If not for my QT tank, I would have infected my fish in my display. This includes a pair of expensive Picaso Clowns that I adore.
Yellow Streak Cardinals were the victims in QT and during a 6 week HYPO treatment 2 out of 3 died. I do have one left and she is VERY strong. After the death of the other 2 I decided 8 weeks would be a safe bet and she has made it through the treatment. It has been 8 weeks since the last spot was seen. I am brining up salinitiy now but I am very afraid to add her to the display in fear it might still be present.
Can anyone please post a success story for me about there experience when adding ich infested fishback to there display after Hypo treatment?
Thanks
