We just put some LR in our tank and are in the process of aquascaping when this little guy showed up. Any idea what he is and if he is friend or foe? Thanks!
I looked up "peanut worms" on google images. I'm not sure if they (I just found another one) are peanut worms or not. You can see all their inner workings but they aren't actually transparent. If it helps, the newest chunk of rock is a huge piece of Tonga.
its a peanut worm(Sipunculan). its looking for a new home. try to get it close to the LR so it can get back it there and start cleaning up again. good guy to have. they come in many colors, and im 99%(i will never be 100% on anything ) sure thats what it is. heres some more info. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-04/rs/index.php
great picture. I have a couple in my tank and I only get to see them for brief periods of time because they only come out when it's dark. The second the flashlight hits them "POOF" they're gone.
