Looking for a new filter for my 45. Can't find much info on this inline modular filter system. Debating between this and Ehiem Classic. Any thoughts or experience?

Personally, I don't do any mechanical filtration at all. I'd guess most people these days run a refugium with some sort of macro algae, have a good cleanup crew, good skimmer, and do proper water changes. I do however keep a mechanical filter and an old diatomagic filter for special needs.

Everyone is a little different though. If I'm out of line, please let me know.

I have a cascade filter running my 72 bowfront reef...love it!! That's actually all I have and powerheads for flow....works for me!

I heard Ehiem's are great too....pricey but good!

Ive got a eheim classic 2213. I was told it works fine, but I have no clue how to work it to make sure.
