Short story long:spin1: I replaced an XM20k bulb with a 14k phoenix. I used the screen method but I guess I underestimated the par difference between these bulbs. Well some coral were fine and some got ticked off. Color is all back to normal now after replacing the screen for a few weeks. I then have slowly removed it a little each day for the past couple of weeks. Now the problem....Because of my work schedule I can only have the screen removed for about 3 hrs before work. I need to find how to finish off the acclimation. I dont really want to mess with the timer and photoperiod too much as they have just recovered form what I already did, but I may have to. Any ideas? Do you think I could just leave the screen on in the morning and have no screen for the remaining 6hrs of the photoperiod. Or am I going to bleach them again. I could cut the photoperiod down but, again, Im not sure I should do this. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.
