Light enough for a squamosa?

I'm going to set up a 29 gallon tank for a squamosa clam. It will be connected to my 150 gallon tank through the sump, but I'll soon have butterflies so I wanted to make a separate tank for a clam.

Would this light be enough for the clam?

The water column is 16 inches deep.

i don't think so, plus pure white will not make the sq look good to your eyes

The colour is not a problem. I can get other mixtures of coloured LEDs. I'm just wondering whether 30w of LEDs will be enough for a squamous clam or whether to get two of them.

I'd agree with Moliken- home furnishing lamps tend not to do the trick, despite the apparent congruence of kelvin and wattage with reef tank needs.

These will work....The PAR 38 LEDs are bright. However you will need at least 3 over your tank with the 60 degree optics. For that price you might be better off going with a 16" Reefbreeder fixture for $179 with 120 degree optics. These fixtures will come with a variey of different color LEDs that will allow you to grow all types of clams as well as coral.
