Light for Cheato

I looked everywhere for those 11wt bulbs Doubledown recommended. All I could find were 13 or 9. Bought the 13, since I also will need one for the anemone prop tank. Also, they were on sale at Menards, 2 for $2.

Do I leave it on the cheato 24/7?

I picked up the flourecent bulb that replaces an incadesent?. It only draws like 23 watts and is like 5500k.

cheato doesnt even need light to grow..

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't cheato a plant and therefore needs proper light to grow?

It needs light, 24hrs is best, or you could run your fuge lights opposite of your main display lights. 24hrs will maximize growth/nutrien export.

Do I need to feed cheato--or I guess the pods in my fuge? Phyto? Or is feeding Phyto to my tank good enough?

Feed the pods phyto. I supplement Iron once a week for the Cheato.
