Has anyone done this? if so what lights did you use. Or what lights would you suggest for a lps tank without having to remove the lid. The power compacts I have in there now are keeping the tank rather warm.

what kind of led? I have been reading the ecoxotics are known for going out. Was thinking rapid led but I don't know how many would suffice and what colors as there are quite a few.
