Light problem... Please HELP

I have the orbit 6x 96w power compact and one of the bulbs only comes on every other day... all the lights are on the same timer so it's not that, but I am wondering if would be a ballast problem. I have replaced the bulb and it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Since you replaced the bulb, I would asume it is the ballast, I would watch for heat being made from it. Some ballast can actually start a fire.

You could also have a faulty connection in the wiring.

Sounds like ballast. Can you swap bulbs over?
