light recommendation.

I have a deep blue 60 cube. The dimensions are 24x24x24. I was figuring the new 15 series light would work for raising anything but I'm getting mixed opinions. Some say the 30pro should be used for raising SPS which is right?

It you have the money go Gen 3 pro. It will have the intensity to work well over a SPS cube.

Hi Stuart,

Personally, I think one (1) Radion XR15w Pro would work really well over your 60G cube, especially if you plan a "typical" mixed reef with SPS on the upper-half of the tank.

With that being said, a single G3/G3 Pro would be more than sufficient -or- you could always add a second XR15w Pro if/when you filled the tank and needed some extra PAR.

Well I went ahead a purchased the 30pro to be safe. If I upgrade tank later the light will be ready for the new challenge.
