Light turning yellow?

I purchased used bulbs (yes, I know, never again). Two 10K XM 400watt SE MH's. One was very white and the other was slightly yellow when I firsted started using them about 3 months ago. I started to believe that the slight yellow one was 6.5K but found out XM doesn't make a 6.5K. Over the course of the last few weeks, the yellow one started creating darker and darker yellow. Today, the light is an out-right dark yellow.

Could this be the result of aging and an indication that the bulb needs to be changed?

I believe (but don't quote me) that some of the older XM bulbs had a yellowish tint to them. I don't know if they re-designed but the newer bulbs aren't suppose to have this yellow color. Maybe you got one newer bulb and one older bulb.
