lightin a 100 gallon

I am thinking about picking up a 100 gallon tank. dimensions 72 x 18 x 18. I am not sure how I want to light this. I dont really want to go with halides as i am wanting to move away from them. But I am open to suggestions. Anyone?

Personally, I like halides the best myself so if I give a suggestion, it would be 3 halides + T12 VHOs.

Great color, great growth, nice shimmer effect.

Otherwise a good second would be all T5 bulbs or even an underrated option would be 4 x 160 watt T12 VHOs. I ran 4 VHOs for a while and they give nice color and growth.

Two 36" T5 ATI sunpowers or powermodules. There's a new dimmable sunpower coming out soon that would give you control over your whole tank, where as metal halide can't. Metal halide is great, but the heat is too much to take IMO. T5 or even LED should work well in your case.
