lighting 4 a 360 gallon cube

hi i want to have HO t5 lighting on my tank i would like to know if HO t5 would penetrate up 2 three feet of water my tank dimesions r going to be 48x 48x 36 advise would be very useful and if i can which brand and what order of lights to keep in the fixture i want to keep mainly sps, clams, well just about everything

with those measurements i think i would use mh to get the light to the bottom of the tank. if you want sps i think that 400 watt mh are in order. that is just my opionion though.

I currently have a 30" deep tank, and using T5HO, I can still grow many species of Acro and Monti on the sandbed.

But 6" can make a big difference I suppose.

ok i have changed the dimesions after get a stand for ten bucks:O
cant beat that but the dimesions are 60"x 42"x 36" its no longer a cube it about 395 gallons i know tht i can add mh lighting but i dont want the electric bill to get really high will ho t5 be better if i get the fixture from tek light with each light getting a indivisual reflector

t5s will save you on your electric bill. i am an old school mh user and would settle for nothing less. from what i understand t5s are best with the individual reflector. i do not have any experiance with them.
