Lighting a 28G

I've got a 28G nano that came with a 2x36w PC hood - looking to upgrade to more light since everything at the bottom of the tank is looking a little sad.

The tank is 24" wide and the only self-enclosed hoods I can find are 130w max - is that going to make that much of a difference?

I think a 4 x 24" t-5 hood or retrofit kit would be great for a tank like that. I have a 26 gal tank with a 4 x 24" t-5 hood that i made myself with a retrofit kit. Check out retrofit kits, building your own canopy is not your thing, check out the aquamedic t-5 hoods. they are really nice and pretty freindly on the wallet. don't get a PC hood, PC is what i would call an out of date technology. t-5's are much more energy effeciant and they produce more light with less wattage.
