Lighting a 90 gallon 30 in. deep

It's time for new lights and I am completely clueless. Presently I have (4) 48 inch T5's 54 watts a piece in a canopy over a 90 gallon bowfront that is like 30 inches deep. Obviously this is not enough light. I have corals that are in another reefers tank because they were not getting enough light. It is now time to get better lights. I was told that I need at least (2) 250 watt metal halides. I am looking for suggestions on all in one units (because I am scared of the "do - it - yourself" when it comes to electricity and water... lol), preferrably with T5's as well, that will not break the bank too much. I spent about $1000 on the lighting that I have already (I know... I got ripped off) and I can not afford to spend that much again. What are some good brands of all in ones that are not that expensive and give great results? Where do I get them? Does anyone have any personal experience with these brands and how is the heat issue?

Thanks for your help

Whoa $1000 on a 4 bulb fixture! Look for used MH pendants, the only DIY you will have to do is hang them from the ceiling which is ultra easy! I got 2 pendants + ballasts for around $300. Keep your eyes on the used goods forum, ebay, craigslist etc. Aquamedic has affordable, yet decent pendants.

I am in the process of gathering all my equipment for my new 90 build, and the lighting will be a 6 bulb T-5 set-up. Should be able to keep most anything with this and since I already have a retro 4 bulb set-up it will not cost very much.

Do you mind sharing what fixture you do have?
