I currently have a 144g half circle. I am using T5's on it, I have purchased two 400watt MH with Bals, but they came with spider relfectors, and I would like something more appealing to the eye and of higher quality (I have no canopy). The main problem with lighting this tank is, the braces are made of black plastic.
At the moment I just have a lot of soft coras, but would like to take a shot at sps and I have two skimosa (sp) clams that I would like to move to this tank.
I'm not sure what the best lighting system would be, any help would be great!
