If you can provide 150 Watts of t5 comparable to a 150 watt MH.
Is there that much difference.
At 17 inches EJ it might burn those anemones up. I have found in my expeirecne that MH burn too hot and in a deeper tank they work, but in a short tank like my breeder, they would be 6inches from anemone. A MH that close to an anemone would generate too much heat.
I beleive Most of the guys like Rod have higher mixed reefs and if you notice most of the anemones climb to the highest perch to get light. ( They can chime in to discredit or reaffirm )
Im seriously starting to think that breeder size tanks are perfect anemone clown species tanks.
Gigantea are found in low lying areas and can sometimes be its blown all over the place. Sometimes the folds of the base will blow up and expose the verrucrece.
I hope more people chime in.
